Baggot Street Has A Brand New Italian Restaurant And It Looks Absolutely Brill

They even have a Carbonara pizza on the menu!

Cirillos

The corner directly opposite Toners on Baggot Street is now home to a beautiful new modern Italian cafe and restaurant by the name of Cirillo's.

Cirillo’s offers authentic Italian antipasti, pasta dishes and wood-fired pizzas for lunch and dinner, with all their pasta, breads, pizza dough and ice creams made fresh in-house every day.

They also have a choice of regional Italian wines from boutique producers, as well as a menu of craft beers and Italian apertifs on the go.

Their seriously impressive pizza oven was imported from Naples and burns a blend of Irish oak and ash. They slow-prove the pizza dough for 30 hours using a recipe from the Cirillo's Head Pizzaiolo, Luca.

Out of all the things on their menu, though, we're most intrigued by their Pizza Carbonara which comes with mozzarella, egg, pecorino, guanciale & black pepper on top. Oh baby!

Be sure to check it out this weekend!
