PICS: You Need To Check Out This Brand New Italian Bar And Restaurant In Dublin

Sarah

The latest delight to come to town is a classic Italian eatery meets New York bar, and it’s inspired by the hip NY neighbourhood North of Little Italy (NoLIta).

Ever wanted to feel like you’re living it up in the Big Apple? Well now you can get those NY vibes right here in Dublin.

NoLIta has an urban warehouse style, with an open staircase leading to a bar and terrace, and a cosy Whiskey Bar with Irish and International potions that’s just made for date night.

It just opened on Thursday and is already a raging hit.

NoLIta promises “extensive menu options, hand-crafted cocktails and world class entertainment”, and it’s open seven days a week for all you hardcore mid-week revelers out there.

Their cocktail menu is pretty amazing too, with choices such as the Brazen Benedict with Whiskey, Benedictine cherry syrup, mint and lime juice or The Amalfi Aviator with Amaretto, cherry liqueur, orange bitters, sugar syrup and lime juice all making us pureeety thirsty.

NoLIta isn’t just a bar either, and you can get some top quality Italian eats here, with a woodfired oven at the heart of their open kitchen.

Pizzas on the menu include a classic Margarita, Gorgonzola, or traditional Italian Salsiccia, with choices starting from €12 for a woodfired pie, and they do dreamy pasta dishes too.

Only in the mood for some Aperitivo drinks and a snack? The antipasti to nibble on sound divine, with options such as Calamari Fritti (€8) with tomato and basil sauce and saffron aioli and Himalayan Salt Cured Tuna (€14) served with with crisp capers, fresh jint, wood roasted peppers, picked red onion, lemon & chilli.

Yep – this will be a welcome addition to Dublin’s social scene for sure. As NoLIta says themselves, “we’re all about the pursuit of good times.” YAS.

NoLIta can be found at 64-65 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 www.nolita.ie
