Electric Picnic is just around the corner, and we've started to get pretty excited.
And it's not just about the music... trust us.

For the first time ever, Picnickers will have the opportunity to swim in the lake at Electric Picnic this year.
To reach the lake, follow the signposted riverside path leading from the Jimi Hendrix campsite. Lifeguards will be on duty all weekend to watch out for everyone’s safety - and only competent swimmers will be allowed enter the lake.

Designed to revitalise and heighten the senses, restore radiance and boost your vitality - The Immerse Spa Experience involves open-air seaweed and epsom salt baths with an unlimited supply of hot water on tap.

Pamper Street, a brainchild of Lavish Design, is a play on all of the small and fascinating pamper shops that they have encountered from their travels all over the world.
This amazing addition features everything from Middle Eastern wet-shave barber shops to the vibrant hair salons and nail bars of Mexico and spiritual cleansing in the Caribbean.

Kicking off this year for the first time ever, Electric Picnic is introducing a new interactive theatre space in the woods called The Hazel Wood.
The space will include mesmerising storytelling through interactive theatre, shadow puppetry, visual displays, Commedia Dell’Arte workshops, visual art and much more. They boast a whole host of big names - such as The Gaiety School of Acting, Fossets Family Circus and The Lords of Strut.
The Hazel Wood will also feature immersive art pieces, immersive art installations and traditional paintings, bringing art to the forefront of this year's festival.
Named after the Cosby family who own Stradbally Estate, The Cosby Tent houses some of the best up-and-coming acts from Ireland and beyond, spanning a number of genres including indie, rock and electro.
Yep, this is as good as it sounds.
Theatre of Food puts the Picnic in Electric Picnic 2016, with incredible menus of stellar cooking from the best chefs in the whole of Ireland. A music stage is also set up right next door, meaning you don't have to miss out on the tunes while you dine.
Trenchtown is all about sending the positive message of unity through music, and the art of welcoming festival goers to the ‘Jamaican Gem’.
The Village bridges the distance between Ireland, Jamaica, Africa, and The West Indies, tingling the senses, hosting the best of reggae, ska, afrobeat, samba, dub, dancehall, hip hop and jungle across its four deadly music stages.

Trailer Park is a set up of 30 miniature stages or creations housed in caravans, horseboxes, mobile homes, shipping containers and repurposed vehicles.
