An Irish blogger is doing a 12-hour challenge next week for a very important cause and the public is being urged to get involved too.
Fashion, beauty, lifestyle blogger Rosie Connolly, in her role as ambassador for the dealership Michael Grant Renault, is set to spend half a day driving the Renault Koleos from 5.50am to 5.50pm on Tuesday, November 28 to collect donations from the public and raise awareness for a very important cause.
Why 5.50am to 5.50pm?
This timeframe was chosen to draw attention to – and raise money for - an estimated 550 heart surgeries that will take place in the next 12 months by the dedicated team at Crumlin Children’s Hospital, which is supported by the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF) Crumlin.
During the 550* Challenge, Rosie will be accompanied by sponsor Michael Grant and the hospital’s giant mascot, Dr Teddington, who'll be giving away goodies to passers-by, posing for the occasional picture and collecting money.
Lovin Dublin will also tag along for the ride to film the day’s adventures on our social channels, so stay tuned to see how we get on.
