This Dating App Has Just Arrived In Dublin — But Not Everyone Is Going To Like It

Being single in Dublin is tough, immersed in a sea of eejits and divas, loved-up couples and well... not much else.

You've probably tried all the traditional ways of meeting people: the gym (sweaty mess — how would this even work?), friends of friends (um, if they were worth dating, wouldn't your friends already be dating them?), at bars (yeah, you're not exactly going to find your soulmate in Flannery's), the list goes on.

Then you tried the apps, but you've seemingly got repetitive strain injury from swiping left on all those dull duds, married guys (wut?), shirtless posers and slow-repliers.

So what's to be done?

Enter, The Inner Circle, a dating app that aims to help you separate the wheat from the chaff.

Rather than just present you with an endless stream of the opposite sex, The Inner Circle categorises people into a user-friendly system where you can choose people according to their interests and values.

They aim to present you with quality matches, not quantity.

You can swipe through options based on a variety of filters, like education level, income level, interests, ambitions and lifestyles.

Plus it reveals who's just in Dublin for a visit, so you don't have to bother with the stopover matches.

The Inner Circle also has a geographic category so you can see the happening places near you

With suggestions for places popular with users, you can find out what's happening now, as well as people of similar interests, and all kinds of connections — a welcome change from the constant one-by-one swiping of people with nothing in common.

How to get involved?

The app screens each application — to make sure there aren't any married people, Catfish or bots getting through — so you submit your account when you download the app, and then you'll have to wait for approval from The Inner Circle team.

Once you're approved, you're good to go!
