We always set out with great intentions but the thoughts of actually making your lunch in the morning can deter even the most committed food fan.
We've all been there; packing a lifeless sandwich into your bag and knowing you won't be looking forward to eating it once lunchtime finally ticks around.
But what is the saddest lunch you've ever eaten?
Our friends at Nando’s don’t want you to suffer at the hands of soggy sandwiches, so we're asking you to send us pictures of your sad lunch on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #sadlunches.
We'll pick three preliminary winners with the city's saddest lunches on the Wednesday November 23, Thursday 24 and Friday 25.
On Wednesday November 28, Nando's will deliver the winners' lunches to their office, so only enter if you're happy for Nando's to show up at your workplace – and film you getting some grub!
December 2 will be a momentous occasion. The overall winner will be announced, and they'll win themselves a €600 voucher for Nando's, which works out at a Nando's a week for a whole year.
