Thoughtfulness, consideration, appreciation — these are all things we're pretty sure you don't show your friends enough of.
But that can all change! With a little help from us, of course.
We've teamed up with the folks at Cadbury Milk Tray to help you show your mates that you really do appreciate 'em.
Here are just a few quick suggestions.
1. Cook them dinner
Dinner always tastes better when someone else makes it for you. Stuffing your face on delicious grub while you both have a good ol' moan about the drudgeries of work — isn't that what real friendship's all about?
2. Treat them to the cinema
Don't just discuss the latest Making A Murderer-esque documentary that you've watched separately, turn it into a mate date and check out the latest riveting feature to play at the IFI.
3. Give them a personalised gift... that they'll hate
Because spending your hard-earned money on a present that really gets on your friend's nerves is your own twisted way of saying you love them dearly.
4. Tag them in memes
That sparkling humour of yours can really brighten up their day.
5. Pay them back on time
There's nothing more awkward than having to ask a friend to pay you back the money they owe — and nothing sweeter than not having to ask at all.
6. Get them a drink before they even ask
Because it really shows that you just get them, you know?
7. Shower them in chocolate
Which, as we all know, is the quickest way to anyone's heart.
