You can start off in Relish in Bettystown, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner (their early bird menu is unreal) with a lovely view of the sea. If you're in the mood for brunch, try Cool Beanz for crepes, waffles of the sweet or savoury variety and ice cream. For dinner, pop into Reddan's Of Bettystown to enjoy sumptuous dishes like Reddan's Bruschetta (parma ham wrapped brie on toasted homemade bread with a mix of salad and sundried tomato pesto), A Taste Of Ireland (four-hours braised beef rib on colcannon mash served with Dublin Bay prawn and Guinness braising liquids), Bettystown Lamb Shank (three-hours braised lamb shank with glazed carrots and onions, rich lamb jus and creamy mash) and many more.
When evening rolls round you can settle down at Moran's Pub, a traditional establishment dating all the way back to the 1840s which has been renovated and expanded in recent times to offer a few modern comforts. With its wood-panelling and open fires, there's a homey feeling to this local, with the whole place coming to life when trad music is played, there's a match on the TV or the regulars are trying to rope you into a game of Rings.
