You may have already heard of this homegrown tool, thousands of Dubliners already use it every day, but you might not realise how much it can change your midday meal.
Simply put, the app lets you speed up the whole process of getting your lunch. Here's how it works: Bamboo shows you restaurants and cafés nearby that have subscribed to their service, allows you to place your order and pay for your meal in advance, it will then notify you when meal is being prepared and ready to collect, and finally it allows you to skip right to the head of the queue at the eatery! On average, the app has been shown to shave 15 minutes off your lunchtime waiting time.
