The Conrad Hotel, Dublin, yesterday unveiled their brand new transformation, which cost over €13 million.
The refurb was heavily inspired and influenced by Dublin’s rich literary culture and local heritage.
And it is truly stunning.
They’ve also unveiled their new restaurant, The Coburg.
The Coburg, formerly known as Alex Restaurant, is a relaxed, brasserie featuring an all-day menu that is locally-inspired – which is pretty different to what its predecessor focused on.
The Iveagh Gardens, once known as the Coburg Gardens was the inspiration for the design of the new restaurant.

The interior has been immaculately designed using leather, marble, porcelain and brass, which complement the equestrian theme that is woven into banquette seating, mirrors, light fixtures and artwork.
The Coburg menu has been created by head chef, Dmitry Stroykov, who uses ingredients from many local producers and suppliers.

Lemuel’s is Conrad Dublin’s new ground floor lounge and bar and is named after Lemuel Gulliver, the fictional voyager, and pays tribute to the magic and curiosity of Gulliver’s Travels

Conrad Dublin’s newly-designed bedrooms look a lil somethin’ like this:
“Having worked extensively with our designers, Fabled Studios, the 192 guest rooms have been revamped with beautiful fabrics, a subtle colour palette of greens and greys, natural oak flooring and finishes such as Herringbone wool carpets and wood panelling on the walls. The result is a restful sanctuary and we think that guests will love the new-look bedrooms and indeed, the entire hotel transformation that so tastefully reflects Ireland’s rich cultural heritage.”
