Dublin fans should be just about recovered after the double celebration that took place last weekend. On Saturday September 14, the capital’s men’s football side clinched their fifth All-Ireland in a row before the ladies followed this up with their own three-in-a-row the next day.
Now that the dust has settled on these historic achievements, plans for an official celebration have been confirmed. Dublin GAA has announced that a homecoming event for the two teams will take place on Sunday September 29 at Merrion Square in the city centre.
The homecoming to celebrate our Men's & @Dublinladiesg All-Ireland winning teams will take place at Merrion Square this Sunday, 29th Sept from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
FREE tickets are available through clubs throughout the county & also at https://t.co/8EZsL6u1DQ#UpTheDubs pic.twitter.com/Eg7z0jxRq6
