As the clock ticks down towards Christmas, the potential presents to put a smile on a loved one’s face keep on coming.

With festivals coming out our ears in Ireland these days, a ticket to one of the summer’s big music events is a surefire route to someone’s heart this year. If you’re still stuck for ideas then get a load of the Forbidden Fruit 2019 which has been released this morning.

The Royal Hospital Kilmainham event is back for its ninth year and headlining will be English star Skepta on Saturday June 1, DJ Mura Masa on Sunday June 2 and indie rockers Elbow on Sunday June 3.

Elbow will be supported on the final day by Swedish siblings First Aid Kit who have built up quite a reputation in recent years for their live show.

Sure what else would ya be doing over the June Bank Holiday? Tickets go on sale this Thursday at 9am from all the usual outlets. More details can be found here.
