Sushi is a magical combination of rice, fish and veg, it's super fresh, healthy and filling. It's just the dream really.
Finding a good sushi place is like finding a soy-mate...
These puns are ridiculous but I'm on a roll. (geddit?)
Ok, I'll stop now.
Here's some of my all-time fave places to munch on sushi rolls in Dublin.
Ashai is located by the canal on Charlemont street. It's one of the bigger sushi venues in the city, it's got a long table that's ideal for larger groups.
Try Dynamite - Prawn tempura, avocado and spicy box sauce.
It's to die for.
Zakura was one of the first places I ever tried in Dublin so you could say it started my love affair with sushi.
I definitely have a soft spot for it ever since.
It's the ideal spot for an affordable meal out because it's BYOB.
Chopsticks at the ready!
A tiny spot hidden away down a side street in Ranelagh, Michie sushi is a special place.
With restaurants also in Sandyford and Dun Laoghaire, if you're on the southside you're set up.
Try the Futo Maki, made with cucumber, crabstick, egg, pumpkin, tofu and yellow radish - It's delish!
Eatokyo is bang smack in the city centre so it's a perfect meeting point for friends coming from many directions.
Their Catepillar Roll is one of my all-time favourite sushi dishes in Dublin.
Avocado slices, crab meat, cucumber - GORGE.
If you're walking down Liffey Street in the evening and you spot a queue of people, they're picking up some Kokoro.
The sushi joint often distributes their dishes half price in the evening if they haven't sold out. It's a bargain when you get one but you have to be there on time.
It's also a ay of knowing that the sushi you're eating is always freshly made that day.
One of the most well-known sushi joints in Dublin, Musashi knows how to rock a roll.
Wasa BAE.
Located in Terenure and Phibsborough, Tani's a winner.
YUM.
