Copper Face Jacks is no longer up for sale.

In a turnaround which will come as music to the ears of frequenters of the iconic Dublin nightclub, the owners of Copper Face Jacks have decided to pull the plug on the sale.

The popular Harcourt Street venue, as well as the Jackson Court Hotel, was put up for sale in March and there were murmurings of the combined property selling for around €40 million.

In recent months, there had been reports of a potential deal being agreed following several approaches to purchase the property.

Coppers, as it is more affectionately known, will not change hands however as the owners Cathal and Paula Jackson decided to withdraw the property from sale thanks to a thankful return to good health from Cathal.

“We are very pleased to confirm that as Cathal has now recovered his health completely, he has decided to stay actively involved in the business,” reads a memo sent to staff this week.

“As a result, he has now formally withdrawn the property from sale.”
