Pretending to be into the, hitherto unheard of, Liverpool band was the height of sophistication and coolness, or so you thought as you pined after Joe/Joanna down the road, 'up in your lonely room.'

Look, at the time your peers were listening to Nelly's Hot in Here or Las Ketchup, so it really was the biggest peak of maturity your young self had achieved up to that point.

You were so cool and deep. So deep, bruh.
