Every month has something - December is Christmas, January is Dry January and November is Movember.

Ahhhh, yes!

That wonderful time of the year when almost every man that passes you on the street has very questionable facial hair.

From the quirky to the downright daft, it's a great awl time of year because it's for a great cause.

Movember was set up to raise awareness and get people talking about men's health issues such as mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

This year, there's tonnes of events being held to mark the occasion but one that caught our eye is the Movember Flash Tattoo Day.

The charity tattoo day will be in conjunction with Craft Ink Tattoo Studio on Thomas St.

The Movember Flash Tattoo Day will be offering limited edition 'tash tatts all day for €50.

Not only will you get a savage moustache tattoo, €40 of the cost will be going to the Movember Foundation. So, you're basically getting a tattoo for a tenner.

(The other €10 is going to the artist and to cover things like needles and ink, as they're a new, small studio.)

Tattoos often allow us to express ourselves in a way that talking can't always do. This event will give people the chance to wear their Mo with pride and create awareness and conversation.

There will also be a Movember goodie bags for the first 20 people.

A deadly event for an even deadlier cause!
