A Dog Took The Train From Sallins – Heuston On His Own And The Hunt For His Owner Is On

Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

Irish Rail has issued an appeal for the owner of a little dog who hopped on the train from Sallins to Heuston at 08:46 am this morning.

The black and brown dog which looks like a cross terrier was spotted when the train pulled into Dublin. He is now being cared for by staff at Heuston who are hoping to check for a microchip.

They are currently on the hunt for his owner and sent out an appeal on Twitter:

What an adventuruos little fella!

It seems his big adventure has tired him out as Irish Rail tweeted:

“Our Lost Dog is sleeping soundly in Heuston right now but we’re still hoping to reunite him with his owner. Please RT”

If this little guy looks familiar to you be sure to contact Irish Rail.

What a cutie, we hope he’s reunited with his owner soon!
