PIC: The Most Annoying Dublin Bus Flaw Will Happen Constantly Over The Weekend Thanks To The Pope

Darragh Berry

Pope Francis is only a couple of days away from landing in the big smoke and we’re already pissed off at how the city will come to a standstill because of it.

Firstly, Dublin City Council announced the lengthy list of road closures for the Papal Visit.

It’s a list so big that it makes you ask the question: “what roads are actually being left open?”

And now, it seems as though Dublin Bus’ Real Time Passenger Information will be non-existent over the weekend.

Dublin Bus say that “There’ll be no Real-Time Passenger Information available on the 25th/26th of August as major traffic diversions will be in place due to the visit of Pope Francis.

So, you’re advised not to use your car but if you actually want to avail of public transport, you have to guess when it’s coming.

How fun.

We can’t wait to lick our index finger, point it in the sky, see what way the wind is blowing and listen in that direction for the number 9 into town.

That or we’ll probably just walk wherever, or stay on the couch all weekend.

Actually scrap that we pick option C.
