It’s that time of year again when we get to complain about being stranded in our gaffs as thousands us around achieve the ultimate in human endurance.
The 2019 Dublin Marathon takes place this Sunday and with it come the usual road closures around the city. While most areas will remain unaffected, there are parts that will be closed off to traffic for a large portions of the weekend.
If you’re planning on getting behind the wheel over the Bank Holiday weekend then you might want to take note of what’s going on. First of all, Merrion Square North will be closed from Friday at 7.30pm until Monday at 4pm.
Furthermore, Merrion Square South will be closed from 6am on Saturday until 8pm on Sunday. And this is all just the beginning. The folllowing list, provided by Dublin City Council, tells us every single road that will be closed throughout Sunday:
