Anyone renting or looking to buy a gaff in Dublin will tell you that it’s a nasty market out there…

Each day we’re bombarded with heartbreaking tales of more families becoming homeless due to hikes in rent, and being unable to make mortgage repayments. On top of that, some renters are having to move further and further out of the city in order to be able to afford the ridiculous rise in rents.

And then, you’re perusing DAFT.ie and you come across an average enough apartment that costs €4,950 per month

Like, what the actual fuck?

The proximity of those twin beds would imply you’d have to know someone pretty well to be sharing that room!

With only four pictures there’s not much to see, so we can only hope that it actually has stunning penthouse views, a chef to cook all your meals for you and a jacuzzi thrown in for good measure.

Even then, the price tag seems outrageous – with annual rent costing a total of €60,000. Fucking hell, mate.
