This Dublin Restaurant Charged €3 For Tap Water

Rip off Dublin is alive and well...

Tap Water

So much for tap water being the free option.

One Lovin Dublin reader was eating in Liffey Valley's Rapid River Spur Steak & Grill yesterday and asked for three tap waters to accompany their meal, he sent us a picture of his receipt.

€3 for tap water. Absolute disgrace.

Steak Grill

This isn't the first example of restaurant rip offs in the capital, we've also seen a Dublin café charge €21.56 for a salad and a lemonade and €4 for a cup of tea.

But with the introduction of water charges, are restaurants now justified for the charging of tap water?
