WTF – Is Someone Trying To Rent Out This Beauty Room In Rathmines As A Bedroom?

Alana Laverty

From sheds to fridges – we thought we’d seen it all.

Yes, Ireland’s rental websites have shown us some pretty fucked up sleeping arrangements in recent times, what with the housing crisis and all – desperate times, desperate measures.

But good God, this has got to be the cherry on top.

This beauty room is listed as a “flat share” in which there are two beds available, for females only.

And seeing as there are the only two photos accompanying the ad, we just have to assume that these are the beds…

Honestly, what does be going through people’s minds when they post these ads?!

The thought of getting a beauty treatment while lying on what someone considers their bed is beyond unappealing.

It’s just creepy af.

And the thought of stranger getting a massage on your bed? Also creepy!!!

Here’s hoping the salon isn’t actually in use, and that it’s just a residential site.

It’s listed on Daft.ie as being located on Leinster Road, Rathmines, Dublin 6 and costing €300 per month per ‘bed’.

The ad reads:

“Modern Large shared room to share with one other ,suit student or alike.Close to swan centre ,tesco, aldi ,lidi, Luas,Swan leisure”

It’s currently been viewed over 1,500 times and other features include:

  • Central heating
  • House alarm
  • Cable TV
  • Internet
  • Microwave
  • Garden / Patio / Balcony
  • Washing machine
