Alan Fisher

Who doesn’t love going to gigs?

There is literally nothing better than going to see live music.

Having a few drinks before you head in and see some of the most talented people the country has got to offer.

There is no shortage of gigs in Dublin but here are five Irish artists with upcoming gigs you do not want to miss and they are all under 17 quid!

In order of date:

1) Soule

After releasing some incredible music this year with the likes of ‘Love Tonight’ hitting number 1 in the Irish radio charts, Soule is ready to take on Lost Lane this Friday, September 20.

Tickets are only €16 and there are still some left.

2) Nealo

Nealo blew up on the scene this year with the release of ‘Just My Luck’, ‘Questions’ and very recently ‘Angel On My Shoulder’.

After playing a sold-out Whelan’s in March, Nealo is ready to play the Grand Social Friday, September 27 and tickets are just €15.

3) Tebi Rex

These guys don’t need much of an introduction.

They have been killing it and are nominated for 2FM Rising this year. Well deserved.

They recently dropped ‘I Never Got Off The Bus’ and I instantly fell in love with it.

Tickets are just €16.45 to see them play Lost Lane on Saturday, November 9.

4) Why-Axis

One of the slickest men around.

After collaborating with such huge brands like Puma, Why-Axis is well known.

He performed the main stage of Longitude and is now heading for The Academy this November.

Tickets are only €15 for the gig on Friday, November 29.

5) Soda Blonde

After exploding onto the scene earlier this year Soda Blonde has just announced a headline gig in Whelans.

Four out of the five members of Little Green Cars makeup Soda Blonde and they have got off to a serious start with the release of their debut single ‘Swimming Through The Night’.

That gig takes place Sunday, December 15 and tickets are just €16.50
