PIC: This Dublin Town Planning Is Definitely An Irish Solution To An Irish Problem

Jen

You couldn’t make this up.

Some things are quintessentially Irish because the logic behind them won’t be found anywhere else.

Sure, other countries are lauded for their practicality and efficiency but we have a very special way of solving problems that will only ever make sense to the people of Ireland.

And we’re sorta proud of that.

Behold this solution for phone lines in Swords, County Dublin.

Tree With Wire Through It

Originally posted to reddit, some of the comments wonder why the tree wasn’t removed.

“Can anyone help me understand why trees are not cut down in this scenario? We see power lines go up in areas in our neighborhood and they plant trees immediately under them. It seems like the stupidest thing but surely there’s some kind of logical reason…”

Most people though, didn’t bat an eyelid at the tree and were more concerned with the price of the petrol.
