It’s finally December, and you know what that means – Christmas is just around the corner!
We’re in full-on festive mode here and counting down the days until our favourite holiday of the year.
Here are seven signs it’s almost Xmas in Dublin!
1. The light are up
Grafton Street is magical, the Christmas trees are towering and the shopping centres are sparkling.
Nothing gets us in the festive mood like twinkly lights!
2. Town is jammers
If you can barely turn around on Henry Street, you know it’s almost Christmas.
Better start your shopping early!
3. There are festive drinks everywhere
From gingerbread lattes to mulled wine, there are warm Christmassy drinks as far as the eye can see.
We’re especially looking forward to trying the Dylan’s new hot chocolate menu!
4. Penneys is full of Christmas stuff
Whether it’s tacky jumpers or reindeer hairbands you’re after, you’ll find it in Penneys.
Make sure to pick up a pack of fairy lights for the house, even though you already have five.
5. There are 12 Pubs crowds everywhere
Just pray you don’t bump into them on the 11th or 12th pub.
Nobody wants to see that.
6. People are doing more good deeds
People always make an extra effort to give to charities and help out the homeless at this time of year.
It’d warm your heart.
7. All the cinemas are showing Christmas films
Whether it’s Home Alone or Elf you’re after, one of the cinemas in Dublin is probably showing your favourite Christmas movie this month.
Grab some popcorn and settle in!
