This year’s Theatre Of Food line up, the foodie element of the completely sold out music and arts festival Electric Picnic, has been announced - and it looks like the culinary side of things will also have a strong musical theme running throughout.
Expect an masterclass in great food from the best chefs and food writers in Ireland, with appearances from Roz Purcell, Katie Sanderson (Dilisk Project), Susan Jane White, Ross Lewis (Chapter One) and chef Paul Flynn talking about the benefits of good food and healthy lifestyles, as well as bringing the younger generation into the forefront with a children’s pizza-making session.
As well as all of this, you also get the chance to experience inspired demonstrations of food from all around the world.
First up is Patrick Ryan of the Firehouse Bakery, then Takashi Miyazaki from Miyazaki and Kevin O’Toole from Chameleon to name but a few, with drinks being provided by Oisin Davis of Jameson and Shannen Butler-Keane from the incredible Diva Boutique Bakery and Café.
Basically, this year's Theatre of Food boasts yet another cracking line up, showcasing some of the best and brightest of Irish food and music.
And with no fewer than five Michelin-starred chefs in attendance - you know you're in pretty solid hands.
