Land ahoooooy!
Dublin Port Riverfest is coming, and it sounds terrific.
Picture this: a Beatles tribute band playing Here Comes The Sun along the quays, food stalls as far as your eye can see, water sports, and the sun absolutely splitting the rocks. Good vibes, no?
This is all happening along the North Wall Quay (from Jeannie Johnston’s ship out to the 3 Arena), on the June Bank Holiday weekend and it’s not to be missed.
Suitable for all the fam – you can even drop the kids off at a pirate workshop where they can learn the tricks of the trade, while you go explorin’.
There’ll be Liffey kayaking, some seeerious ships – think Pirates of the Caribbean – and something called a Tug Boat Dance happening too.
Seems legit.
Plus if you’re feelin’ fancy, there’s a ball in the Mansion House during the festival as well.
It’s called the Admiral’s Ball and it sounds swanky af.
You can buy tickets and check out what else they have in store here.
Roll on the June Bank Holiday!
