Oh, how we love when one of our favourite eateries adds even more delectable goods to their already award-winning menu.
It’s like going there for the first time all over again.
We’re already massive fans of I Monelli in Lovin Dublin, but when we found out that they’ve just added more to their absolutely mouth-watering menu – we had to go check it out.
New additions include, but are not limited to Risotto rosa made with Ridotto rosa is Carnaroli rice and fresh prawns, Prosecco and lumpfish roe, Scamorza and pancetta served with red peppers veloute, Foie gras served with celery and Gorgonzola mousse with Piedmontese hazelnut and the pièce de résistance; Homemade ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach on prosecco, butter chilli and chestnut honey.
And don’t they look just divine?
For dessert they now whip up Strawberry and basil pannacotta on demand – which is the most divine palate cleanser you’ll ever taste.
We spoke to co-owner Gianni De Santis about he and fellow co-owner Ivano Addabbo’s new grub:
”We’re bringing back some old favourites back to our ever-changing menu, along with brand new dishes like the Foie Gras and Pannacotta. We also change our specials every day so we can work with the freshest goods and provide the best meals we can offer. I hope you like them!”
I Monelli is located at 1-2 Portobello Road, Dublin 8 and is open from 5pm – 10pm Monday – Saturday, closed Tuesday and open 3pm – 10:30pm on Sunday.
