Christmas dinner isn't like any regular mid-week dinner.
It requires days of preparation. From picking out the perfect turkey for the centre of the table, to making sure your Christmas cake is just right, the stress of making the meal can actually take away the fun of the day if you're the one lamped with it.
Luckily for those who want to step out of the kitchen, we've compiled a list of some restaurants that will be open and serving Christmas dinner on the 25th!
The Westin Dublin
Based in the ideal location for those who will be in and around the city centre on Christmas Day, the Westin Hotel on Westmoreland Street will be serving lunch at 12:30pm and 4:00pm for €175 per person, €80 for children aged 6-12 and €50 for children between 2 and 5-years-old.
Clontarf Castle is offering a lavish 5 course Christmas Day meal, held in the beautiful Great Hall, with chilled champagne on arrival and some entertainment throughout the dinner between 12:30pm and 3:30pm.
Children can eat for €79 each, and the cost per adult is €169.
The Merrion Hotel
Another option for those wishing to ditch the kitchen on Christmas Day is the Merrion Hotel, situated on Upper Merrion Street.
Head in for a traditional Christmas lunch or dinner on the 25th, and choose from a 5-course menu for €195 per person.
Citron Restaurant, Fitzwilliam Hotel
Also taking the hassle out of Christmas dinner is the Fitzwilliam Hotel, based in the heart of the city in Stephens Green.
They will be serving lunch and dinner for €125 per person on Christmas Day.
