Boojum is launching a vegan popup

Sarah Finnan

The popular Mexican burrito bar, renowned for its meat-centric creations, is going vegan…for one day only.

Wait, what?

Boojum’s Millennium Walkway store in Dublin 1 will go 100 percent vegan this Friday in honour of World Vegan Day.

The one-time exclusive menu will be meat, dairy and egg-free and will see the introduction of a number of limited-time plant-based menu items alongside vegan versions of regular menu staples.

New creations include a chipotle spiced butternut squash, red cabbage and pumpkin seed dish, vegan cheesy cheese and Boojum’s own signature vegan sour cream alongside vegan pollo and vegan barbacoa options.

How delicious.

Not just for vegan and vegetarian customers, the popup will appeal to all taste-buds through its impressive use of spices and flavours. Even meat-eaters will be left wondering how plants can taste so good.

I know what I’m having for lunch this Friday…
