There's some sad news today for those who frequent the Grand Canal area. Popular Forbes Street restaurant Nutbutter has announced that it will be shutting its doors, leaving regulars without their daily fix of Açaí bowls and banana bread.
Fear not though because the team have also confirmed that the eatery will soon be reopening in a brand new location. Phew. A post on the Nutbutter Instagram page states that 'It is with heavy hearts (only for today tho) that we must announce that we will be closing the doors of Nutbutter,' before adding 'HOWEVER..... We will be moving to a bigger and better, brand new location in the future so keep your eyes peeled for juicy updates soon.'

It is with heavy hearts (only for today tho) that we must announce that we will be closing the doors of @nutbutter.ie 🥺🥺 We are feeling a bit emotional and can’t even begin to put into words the gratitude we have for each and every living being (dogs inc) who have set foot through our doors, we never could’ve done this without you! ❤️❤️ HOWEVER..... We will be moving to a bigger and better, brand new location in the future so keep your eyes peeled for juicy updates soon🍾🥳 Thank you all so much for the love throughout our journey so far and we are excited to share the future with you! We cannot wait to get back to serving the Nutbutter community very soon.
An exciting time for the team and it will be interesting to see which part of the city they end up in. In the meantine, you can check out our Nutbutter review, which was published soon after the restuarant opened, here.
