McDonald’s Waiters Will Now Bring You Your Food On Wooden Boards And Baskets

This is confusing. But good. We think.

Starting with a roll-out across 400 restaurants in the UK, McDonald’s is set to change one of the most fundamental aspects of itself: by allowing customers to order from their table, and having waiters bring the food to them.

UK CEO Paul Pomroy said:

We opened 26 new restaurants last year and the rollout of our reimaging programme is transforming the way we serve customers, and has been a key growth driver.
