Deliveroo’s Newest Dublin Delivery Item Is The Most Irish Mixture Of All Time

Part of me is thinking this could be potentially the most delicious thing of all time but before I ever get to finish that sentence, the other part of me is thinking PUKE.

Deliveroo is seeking to satisfy pregnancy cravings by combining ice-cream with  cheese & onion crisps.

But somehow, we don’t think it’ll be just pregnant women tasting out this new flavour of ice-cream.

Deliveroo has teamed up with Dublin-based ice cream parlour Scoop, to create two ice-cream flavours: Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cheese & Onion Crisps.

New research commissioned by Deliveroo has found that the top foods craved by Irish mums-to-be are chocolate, cheese and onion crisps and ice-cream.

The new Ice Creams (we can’t bring ourselves to say cheese and onion ice-cream) will be launched just in time for Breakfast Day on 3rd February. 

Scoop Dessert Parlour Manager, Bobby Ortiz, said: “Gelato tends to be one of the go to foods when it comes to pregnancy cravings and we’ve had our fair share of pregnant women come to our stores looking for the answer over the years.”

Joe Groves at Deliveroo said: “Food brings comfort to so many people at different stages in their lives, especially during pregnancy. Our research shows that pregnant women typically experience cravings during the afternoon, and if that means they fancy a chocolate and crisp ice-cream combo then we’re here to help!”

The Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cheese and Onion Crisps ice-cream is available from Scoop on the Deliveroo app for a limited time only.

We’re curious and nauseous at the same time.
