Every foodie in Dublin knows Asador on Haddington Road to be a solid spot for a great feed.
The grill menu is one of the best of its kind in Dublin, the service is excellent and the location is second to none – you’d be hard pressed to find someone with negative things to say about the place.
Now, though, they’ve upped the game even further; not only has the entire interior been redone, but they’ve also made a very special addition to their menu.
First, let’s take a look at the refurb
Nice. It wasn’t exactly tired looking before, but this light and airy look – with its open kitchen wafting out aromas from the seven-foot grill, and the bar area in the centre – is definitely the sort of atmosphere you’d want to kick back in over the weekend.
But that’s not the only change they’ve made…
Nope. They’ve also added something very rare – pardon the pun – to their spring menu.
Galician beef hails from the north of Spain (obv), and is from retired dairy cows, making it the most succulent cut of steak you could possibly imagine. It’s set the London foodie scene alight, and now this place has become the first place in Ireland to secure a supply.
I mean, just look at it…
And while we’re at it, let’s look at it again…
Dear God.
There are also some other delish options on offer, like the smoked beef tartare, chargrilled octopus and barbecued rump of lamb that you can see below.
Amazing. But can we look at the steak one last time?
Sure.
Drool away. The weekend is close…
