Roast turkey, mashed potatoes dripping with butter and gravy, and of course, heaps of creamy dessert. Mmm we’re salivating all over our good office shirt just thinking of such a glorious Christmas feed.

Lovely restaurant in a loft in Stillorgan that do a great job on Thanksgiving with a quiz and spot prizes to accompany the meal.
2. The Merry Ploughboy
A popular spot with American tourists wanting to see Irish dancing and traditional Irish music. They are dedicating the venue entirely to Thanksgiving for the day, with a full menu and a great night in store.
A hearty dinner with mains such as turkey filled with a cranberry sage and chestnut stuffing, rich roast gravy, garnished with chipolatas and a live show is €49.50 and looks like great craic.
3. Hilton Hotel Charelmont Place
These guys are hosting the “American Democrats Abroad” dinner tonight – stunning setting and choices from the food below for a mere €31.50, you’d be stupid not to go!
4. The Fitzwilliam Hotel
This spot is just perfect – right in the heart of the city, surrounded by the lovely Christmas lights on Grafton Street and plenty of places to pop in for a pint after.
They place a big emphasis on the food which looks absolutely superb, doing a fancy three-course menu for €55.
5. The Woolshed
Fancy meal not your thing? The Woolshed on Parnell Street is doing a rough and ready turkey dinner for just €14.50, and they’ll be showing the NFL games on the big screens.
