The Strawberry Hall Will Soon Be Serving Wood-Fired Pizza And Drive-Through Coffee

James Fenton

The Strawberry Hall pub is exactly what some might call one of Dublin’s hidden gems but its charm is no secret to those who frequent it.

Nestled down in Dublin’s Strawberry Beds, it has long been a popular watering hole for people in nearby spots such as Lucan, Blanchardstown, Castleknock and Chapelizod. Customers are drawn by its old-school vibe, its location relatively off the beaten track and, of course, the fact that it turns into a festive wonderland every single Christmas.

If that wasn’t enough, the Straw Hall, as it’s known locally, has now added two more reasons to pay the spot a visit in the near future. The pub has teamed up with Goats Gruff food truck to serve wood-fired pizza, an addition that’s sure to go well with your tipple of choice on your next visit.

While that’s all well and good for the weekend clientele, the Strawberry Hall hasn’t forgotten about the weekday commuters. The pub has also announced that Goats Gruff will be providing a drive-through coffee service for people passing through the Strawberry Beds on their way to work in the mornings.

No need to wait until you get into the office for your caffeine fix anymore. The new additions will be arriving at the pub in a ‘few short weeks’, just in time for relaxing autumn evenings in one of Dublin’s cosiest pubs.
