This has been a momentous month for lovers of brunch in Dublin City.
First, there was the launch of a delish all-you-can-eat brunch at Medley.
Then, San Lorenzos announced that it was launching a midweek brunch menu.
And now, Featherblade on Dawson Street has decided to serve brunch for the month of March.
Amaaaazing… even if our waistlines will never forgive us.
Featherblade specialises in damn good beef and this is also evident on the brunch menu, with dishes like Steak & Eggs (9oz steak, crispy thyme poached eggs, rosemary salt, béarnaise) and the trademark House Smoked Burger (8oz patty of smoked brisket, aged strip and chuck topped with caramelised onions and béarnaise) to choose from.
But it doesn’t end there.
Other brunch treats include a Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich (crispy buttermilk chicken with kewpi chilli mayo, pickled ginger and cucumber) and Sweet & Eggs (roast sweet potato, smoked labneh, paprika butter, dukkah and poached eggs on sourdough).
However – we have kept the best ’til last, my friends.
Behold, the cocktail menu.
It has FOUR different variants of Bloody Mary – including the ‘Filthy Pig’ with bacon and thyme infused vodka, house blend, pickle juice and crispy bacon, and the ‘Holy Maria’ with habanero infused tequila, house blend, hot sauce and jalapeno.
The new brunch menu is being served Saturday and Sunday until the end of March, with last orders at 3pm.
