Voici In Rathmines Will Be Serving Prosecco With Every Meal On Bastille Day

James Fenton

Liberté, égalité, crêperie.

All of you Francophiles will know that Bastille Day arrives this weekend and it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate all things French.

In Dublin, places don’t get much more French than Voici Crêperie & Wine Bar, a spot we covered when it first opened in Rathmines back in 2017. If you weren’t already aware, the savoury crêpes they have are delicious and the cosy atmosphere makes for a great evening out just outside the city centre.

To celebrate the National Day of France, the restaurant will be putting on a bit of a fête this coming Sunday, July 14. Customers will be invited to try all sorts of inventions such as the De La Mer galette (smoked salmon with lemon dill crème fraiche) or La Traditionnel (Irish ham, melted Irish Cheddar Cheese and Ballymaloe Relish.)

Those with a sweeter tooth will find a Crêpe Caramélisée (caramel gelato topped with fresh whipped cream, flaked almonds) as well as a Crêpe Suzette (freshly squeezed orange and lemon, melted butter, sugar and flambéed with Grand Marnier.)

As well as all that, Voici’s master crêpeieres will be sharing their tips, trivia and experience of this French national staple on the day. Oh, and the bast part? Every meal will be served with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. C’est superbe!

Voici can be found on the corner of Rathgar Road and Rathmines Road and if you’re not in the heart of Paris this Sunday, it’ll definitely be the place to be.

Bon appétit!
