The 2020 Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland has been published and it’s great news for two of Dublin’s finest eateries. The Greenhouse on Dawson Street and Variety Jones on Thomas Street are both celebrating today after being awarded stars in the updated list.

The capital restaurants join Aimsir in Celbridge, Bastion in Kinsale and The Oak Room in Adare Manor, County Limerick as newcomers in the 2020 guide.

Other Dublin places to retain their Michelin Stars from previous years include L’Ecrivain in Dublin City and Liath in Blackrock village while Circa in Terenure and Uno Mas on Aungier Street have been given Bib Gourmands –  ‘exceptionally good food at moderate prices’.

A few spots for you to sample if you haven’t tried them yet. A full list of the 2020 Michelin stars and awards can be found here.
