7 Netflix Pick-Me-Ups To Get You Through The Pre-Monday Blues

Alana Laverty

It seems the weekend is sadly coming to an end, once again.

It feels like just yesterday we were bidding farewell to last Sunday. Kinda depressing, really.

But don’t fret! These Netflix comedic offerings should do the job in distracting you ahead of tomorrow morning. Stay strong.

1. Jim Jeffries: Freedumb

This Australian comedian really knows how to rub people the wrong way.

His opinion on a future with Donald Trump as president is hilariously terrifying.

Shits and giggles guaranteed.

2. Liar Liar

Jim Carrey plays a shnake of a lawyer who makes a promise not to lie for 24 hours, which is clearly harder than it sounds.

If this movie doesn’t cheer you up I don’t know what will.

3. Walk of Shame

Looking for some lighthearted, mindless watching? Then this is the one for you.

It’s frustratingly hilarious and you just can’t help but feel bad for the poor, unfortunate gal.

We’ve all been there.

4. The Cobbler

Adam Sandler plays a cobbler who transforms into different people when he puts on their shoes.

Sounds bizarre but is highly entertaining. You might even shed a wee tear.

5. Ali Wong: Baby Cobra

This girl is fucking hilarious. You’ll be howling with laughter.

She takes stand up comedy to a whole other level, while being extremely pregnant.

6. She’s Funny That Way

Owen Wilson plays a director that pays off a prostitute, who then goes and auditions for his play.

Yup, that’s pretty much all there is to it. And it’s really funny.

Watch it.

7. A Million Ways To Die In The West

Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane star in this western comedy.

Cowboys, guns and rivalry – it’s all fecking hilarious. And Liam Neeson absolutely kills it.

Happy vegetating.
