Dublin Fire Brigade Had A Gas Response To A Fella On ‘Blind Date’ Last Night

AmyBell

Pretty much all of Ireland tuned into TV3 last night for the highly anticipated Irish version of ‘Blind Date’.

We loved the show in the 1980s so when news spread that we would be getting our own version, everyone freaked out.

Well, the show hosted by comedian Al Porter premiered last night and there was mixed reviews.

‘Blind Date’ was a lot cheesier than we expected and very cringy, but that is usually the definition of Irish TV – and we kind of like it.

It appears Dublin Fire Brigade also tuned in and their response to a contestant was gas.

Potential date number two, Keith, revealed to Al that he could sing and dance, so naturally he just had to show off his moves.

But it wasn’t what you would expect… He sang and danced along to The Prodigy’s hit song, ‘Firestarter’.

The audience seemed impressed…

Unfortunately, he wasn’t picked for the date.

And Dublin Fire Brigade took to Twitter with a hilarious response.

See for yourself…

The song is going to be stuck in our heads all day!

Did you watch the show, what do you think was the biggest highlight?

Let us know in the comments!
