This Daft Ad Perfectly Captures The Madness Of Renting In Dublin

AmyBell

We all know rent is expensive when it comes to living in Dublin. It just can’t be avoided to pay an arm and a leg for something relevantly close to the city centre.

Well this is taking rent to a whole new level.

We came across this rental on Daft.ie and find that it’s hard to believe.

For a whopping €1,500 a month you can bag yourself this.

Daft 2

The property in Blackhall Place, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7 features a double bedroom ensuite with the apartment owner living in it. The unknown advertiser just left their phone number and are looking for males or females to move in and that “couples are accepted”.

The ad which is clearly a joke tells those interested to “contact only the Irish GOV help desk”.

They advertise a free microwave, a bathroom outside (as well as inside) and the, “best view of the Irish sky”.

They leave their ad which has raked in nearly 1,000 views since posted earlier today with this message:

“Dublin is the 3rd expensive city in Europe, to rent an Apt or House. Some Apartments are so bad, that they should be banned from Daft or even from the Property offers.”

We wonder how long it will stay up online for.
