This Food Festival In Dublin 8 On Sunday Sounds Like The Ideal Hangover Cure

Sarah

The very words ‘food festival’, combining quite possibly two of our absolute favourite things, is enough to make our mouths water.

And a Slow Food festival sounds even better. Oh boy. We’re ready for it.

Slow in the City is the first annual festival of Slow Food Dublin in association with Bodytonic and with lots of participants already confirmed, this is one foodie and family experience not to be missed.

On in the grounds of Sophia Housing Association on Cork Street, Dublin 8 (entrance opposite Weaver Park) from 10am-5pm.

Head down to D8 and clear the head on Sunday

Comprising of talks, panel discussions, demos, tastings, workshops and a small market with Dublin producers, Slow in the City will “highlight the flourishing Dublin food scene  collaborating with local producers, community gardens, restaurants and chefs all of who live and breathe the Slow Food ethos every day in their work.”

D-R-E-A-M-Y.

There will be food from the following:

–          Andrew Douglas (Dublin Urban Farm)

–          Padraic Óg Gallagher (Boxty House)

–          Bretzel Bakery

–          Olly’s Farm (beekeepers & honey)

–          Niall Sabongi ( Klaw and Poké)

–          Dublin Cookie Co

–          Sheridans Cheesemongers

–          Camerino Bakery

–          Chef Simon Lamont

The perfect way to spend a Bank Holiday Sunday.
