Several Major Acts Have Just Been Revealed For This George’s Street Gig Next Weekend

AmyBell

Well you’ve heard it here first.

An amazing fundraising event is taking place in Nolita on George’s Street next weekend and some major Irish acts have just been announced to perform at it.

The event, Delicate (T)Issue, will see an evening of music and performance on Friday, September 15th with music by none other than The Strypes and Roisin O, as well as a performance art/spoken word piece by Dublin Fringe Festival’s Vickey Curtis.

We’re excited already.

The event is in aid of Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland and An Saol and will be hosted by RTE DJ and presenter, Eoghan McDermott.

The event is raising money for a fantastic cause, and is dedicated to the untold stories of those with mental illness related acquired brain injuries. It’s bound to be an inspiring and thoughtful night.

You’ll be taken on a remarkable journey where you will be asked to consider the delicate issue of mental illness and depression – alongside the delicate tissue of your brain and how these issues and tissues interrelate.

As well as supporting this extremely important issue, guests on the evening have the added bonus of complimentary food and drinks all night available from 6pm-10pm.

There will also be amazing “money-can’t-buy” prizes up for grabs during the event – it just gets better, doesn’t it?

You can purchase the tickets for €75 (seems steep, but just remember all that complimentary booze ‘n drink on the night) and also donate directly to the cause here. All money raised from ticket sales and on the night will be matched and donated directly to the three chosen charities.

It’ll be a night to remember for a very worthy cause.

Delicate (T)Issue takes place in Nolita on George’s Street next Friday, September 15 at 6pm.
