Dublin’s second LEGO store is set to open in Blanchardstown this week

Katy Thornton

Just in time for Christmas.

Dublin’s second Lego store is set to open in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on Thursday October 26th, and if the launch is anything like the first shop’s opening, there are going to be crowds lining up.

We remember all too well the hysteria that came with the opening of Ireland’s first Lego store on Grafton Street in August 2022. Children and adults alike flocked to the shopping quarter to peruse the aisles full of all kinds of buildable figurines and objects, which saw lengthy queues out the door.

When we discovered that they were planning to open a second Irish shop, we were buzzing, and that day is nearly upon us.

Director of EMEA Marketing at the Lego Group Amy Pearson said the success of the Grafton Street shop, since its opening in 2022, has proven the love Irish consumers have for the Lego brand.

“The new Lego store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre will allow builders of all ages to be inspired by the endless play opportunities Lego has to offer.”

Sharon Walsh, Leasing Director at Falcon AM and Asset Manager for Blanchardstown Centre Sharon Walsh said the shopping centre is thrilled to welcome the newest addition to their store lineup.

“Creating unique customer experiences is increasingly important and this interactive, fully-immersive store speaks directly to that.”

This will be a must visit spot for families this festive period.
