PICS: This Beautiful Guesthouse In Ballsbridge Will Make You Think Twice About Staying In Hotels

Sarah

Our love of hotels knows no bounds: fluffy robes, fresh sheets and the chance to have a good kip and just roll out of bed in the morning and walk away from it all. Heavenly.

But with the rise of overnight breaks and #treatyoself trend to book into a swanky hotel, it’s easy to forget that Ireland has some beaut B&Bs and guesthouses that can rival hotels in plenty of ways.

One of these gems has just opened in Ballsbridge and we’re dying to pay it a visit.

Pembroke Hall is an 1800 Georgian house that has been extensively refurbished and transformed into a luxurious boutique Guest House with 12 en-suite bedrooms.

The redesign focused on simple and sleek colours that lifted the Georgian features without standing out too much, and the colours of soft greys and navys are soothing our soul.

There’s a beautiful Georgian drawing room to enjoy a quiet rest before bed or to while away some time reading or just simply to relax in… We’ll choose relax plz.

Rooms are in the period style and look SO cosy

And there’s gorge Orla Kiely toiletries to top it all off…

The best news though, is no hotel prices. Double rooms start from around €120 per room, which is a pretty great bargain for D4.

Looks like B&Bs are back…
