It may only be Monday, but we’re already planning the weekend ahead. Where to go, what to do – and most importantly, where to eat.Â
Now, we’re suckers for new places, so top of our list is the latest opening in Malahide.Â
Beef & Lobster might be a familiar name for the city dwellers with a love for surf ‘n’ turf, as it’s the second site for Oliver Dunne’s steak and shellfish restaurant (the original is on Parliament St in Temple Bar).
It opened its doors in Malahide over the weekend, serving up the same menu as the Temple Bar spot.
And oh, what a menu.Â
Starters include Lobster and Prawn Fritters with Jalapenos, Honey and Lemon Aioli and mains to gorge upon include a Lobster Roll on warm toasted brioche, a Burger & Lobster Roll Mash Up with Vintage Cheddar, Rocket and Tomato Chutney and Grilled Fresh Irish Lobster with lemon and garlic butter.Â
Plus, of course, the famed Surf ‘n’ Turf. For €29.95 you get a 227g Black Angus Fillet Steak + 140g of King Prawns in Garlic Butter. DREAMY.
We hope you’re wearing a bib… ‘Cos these Beef & Lobster pics will make you drool like a newborn babyÂ
Beef & Lobster in Malahide is open from Tuesday-Sunday, serving dinner only for now.Â
