A €9.5m Winning Euromillions Ticket Was Sold In This City Centre Shop

If you bought a Euromillions ticket in the city centre at the weekend, you could be in for a very nice start to your Monday.

It has been confirmed that the winning ticket in the weekend Euromillions draw was sold in Spar on Talbot Street, with the owner set to pick up a life-changing jackpot of €9.5m.

According to Independent.ie, the identity of the winner is not yet known and the windfall could be going anywhere in the country.

The city was very busy on Saturday with thousands of GAA fans flocking to Croke Park for semi-final clashes between Mayo and Kerry and Dublin and Tyrone.

The winning numbers were 1, 16, 17, 32, 34 and 35 – with the bonus number 5.
