An accounting firm in Dublin, EY, has told The Irish Independent that they will be providing interest-free loans on flexible terms in order to help out graduate trainees with renting in Dublin.
The managing partner at EY, Mike McKerr, said:
“For the first time, we have offered all graduate recruits interest-free loans to get them over the hurdle of getting set up in Dublin.”
The latest report from Daft shows that the average rent in Dublin city is now €1,741 a month, and EY has commented that the loan scheme reflects the current difficulties in the housing market.
