Any takers?

A historic 19th century defence tower is currently for sale in Dublin for €375,000.

Located directly above Donabate beach, Martello tower was built in the 1800s with an aim of defending against a possible Napoleon invasion.

It hosts 'uninterrupted panoramas of Lambay Island, the Howth Peninsula, Balcarrick Beach, and the Malahide Estuary'.

The property was listed by estate agents Bohan Hyland & Associates as a potential restoration project.

They said that they tower would be suitable for private enjoyment and architectural reinvention.

"An extraodinary property in an extraordinary location - a rare coastal landmark with sweeping views of lambay island and howth head," they wrote.

I mean, it's as cheap as most 2-bed apartments...
